Colts Open Preseason With Loss To 49ers

(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts started off the preseason with a 37-17 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Quarterback Peyton Manning had a solid start with 91 yards in 16 plays.

Running back Joseph Addai scored a touchdown during that time.

Backup quarterback Curtis Painter wasn't as successful, throwing for just 64 yards and three interceptions.

The Colts have a short week this week as they head to Toronto to take on the Buffalo Bills on Thursday.
