(CHICAGO, IL) - The Chicago Cubs exploded for 14 runs in their final three times at bat, snapping a seven-game losing streak with a 15-3 pounding of the Milwaukee Brewers.
The Cubs trailed 3-1 before scoring six runs in the bottom of the sixth. Pinch hitter Aramis Ramirez capped that inning with a three-run home run.
Geovany Soto and Blake Dewitt added three-run shots in the seventh and eighth innings, respectively.
Ryan Dempster allowed three unearned runs in six innings of work to get the win, improving to 9-and-8.
Manny Parra took the loss for Milwaukee.
