(CHICAGO, IL) - The San Diego Padres completed a four-game series sweep at Wrigley Field, defeating the Chicago Cubs 5-3.
The Cubs took a 2-1 lead in the sixth on back-to-back RBI doubles from Marlon Byrd and Aramis Ramirez.
The Padres regained control by scoring four runs in the seventh with Will Venable's two-run single putting San Diego ahead to stay.
Mat Latos allowed two runs on five hits and struck out ten in seven innings of work to get the win, improving to 13-5.
Carlos Zambrano took the loss for the Cubs, falling to 4-7.
