(SAN FRANCISCO, CA) - The Cincinnati Reds survived blowing a nine-run lead to defeat the San Francisco Giants 12-11 in twelve innings.
Joey Votto homered twice and drove in four runs, including the game-winner with an RBI single in the top of the twelfth.
The Reds built a 10-1 advantage in the fifth inning before the Giants started chipping away with two runs in the fifth and the sixth.
They tied the game by scoring six runs in the eighth with Juan Uribe's three-run homer the key blow.
With the win, Cincinnati avoids being swept in the three-game series.
