(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Colts Safety Bob Sanders underwent surgery to repair a torn biceps tendon in his right arm on Wednesday.
Noted orthopedic surgeon Doctor James Andrews performed the surgery.
The Colts released a statement yesterday saying that any timetable for a possible return is unknown and that Sanders will remain on the 53-man active roster for now.
The Colts did make a roster move to address Sanders' absence for Sunday night's game with the Giants by signing free agent safety DaJuan Morgan.
To make room on the active roster they waived offensive lineman Joe Reitz.
