(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - Nick Blackburn threw seven strong innings as the Minnesota Twins beat the Cleveland Indians 5-1.
The Twins celebrated Tuesday night's clinching of the American League Central title by resting most of their starters.
Jose Morales did most of the damage, tying the game with an RBI double in the sixth and adding a two-run single in the seventh.
Matt Tolbert put Minnesota up for good with an RBI single in the sixth.
Blackburn allowed an RBI single in the first inning to Cleveland's Shelley Duncan, but clamped down from there to get the win and improve to 10-10.
The Twins sweep the three-game series while the Indians have dropped four games in a row.
