(CLEVELAND, OH) - Jared Weaver and Matt Palmer combined on a two-hit shutout as the Los Angeles Angels blanked the Cleveland Indians 7-0.
Weaver went seven innings, allowing a hit while walking none and striking out seven to get the win and improve to 12-11.
Palmer allowed a hit in his two innings of relief.
Juan Rivera and Hank Conger drove in two runs apiece for the Angels with Hideki Matsui adding an RBI triple.
Cleveland starter Jeanmar Gomez allowed all seven Angels runs, six of them earned, in his three innings of work and took the loss, dropping to 3-4.
