(OAKLAND, CA) - The Chicago White Sox snapped an eight-game losing streak, scoring twice in the ninth inning to edge the Oakland Athletics 4-3.
Mark Kotsay tied the game with an RBI single and Mark Teahen tied the game with a run-scoring double as Chicago avoided getting swept in the three-game series.
The Sox are still mathematically alive in the race for the American League Wild Card.
