(MEMPHIS, TN) - The Indiana Pacers dropped their preseason opener, falling to the Memphis Grizzlies 87-85 in Memphis.
Roy Hibbert led the Pacers with 18 points and ten rebounds with Josh McRoberts finishing with 14 points and AJ Price adding twelve off the bench.
Rudy Gay led a balanced Memphis attack with twelve points with OJ Mayo scoring eleven points and Hasheem Thabeet finishing with ten.
The preseason continues on Friday when the Pacers open their home schedule against the Orlando Magic.
