(ALBANY, NY) - The 23rd-ranked Butler Bulldogs used a late 7-0 run to pull away to a 70-57 victory at Siena.
The Saints led by eight in the first half, but the Bulldogs overcame that to take a 37-29 lead at halftime.
Siena cut the lead to 62-55 with five and a half minutes remaining when Butler went on its decisive run.
Matt Howard led the Dogs with 17 points and twelve rebounds with Shawn Vanzant adding twelve points.
Ryan Rossiter had 26 points and 15 rebounds for Siena as the Saints fall to 1-3.
Butler is 3-1 as they host Evansville on Saturday afternoon.
