(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri is the AFC special teams player of the week.
Vinatieri hit all three of his field goal attempts in the Colts 23-17 win over Cincinnati, helping the Colts move into sole possession of first place in the AFC South.
Vinatieri surpassed Eddie Murray for eleventh place in career field goals made and became the twelfth kicker to reach the 1,600-point mark in NFL history with his performance against the Bengals.
It is the eleventh time he has won AFC special teams player of the week honors.
