(CHICAGO, IL) - The Butler Bulldogs won their Horizon League opener, edging the Loyola Ramblers 65-63 in Chicago.
Matt Howard and Zach Hahn scored 15 points each to lead the Bulldogs with Khyle Marshall and Shelvin Mack adding nine points apiece.
Geoff McCammon led the Ramblers with 14 points with Andy Polka scoring twelve and Jordan Hicks finishing with ten as Loyola suffers its first loss of the season, falling to 7-1.
Butler improves to 4-2.
They face Duke Saturday afternoon at East Rutherford, New Jersey.
