(SOUTH BEND, IN) - Tim Abromaitis scored 20 points and Ben Hansbrough added 17 to lead 15th-ranked Notre Dame to a 69-55 win over ninth-ranked Georgetown in the Big East opener for both schools.
Tyrone Nash added 15 points and ten rebounds as the 12-1 Irish won their fourth game in a row.
Austin Freeman was the only Hoya to reach double figures, finishing with 21 points as Georgetown sees its three-game winning streak halted.
The Hoyas fall to 11-2 on the year.
The Irish are on the road Saturday afternoon as they face the Syracuse Orange.
