(CHICAGO, IL) - The Valparaiso Crusaders overcame a ten-point deficit with less than five minutes remaining to pull out a 68-66 overtime win over Illinois-Chicago.
Brandon Wood led four Valpo players in double figures with 19 points.
Paul Carter had 18 points for the Flames, who fall to 4-4, 0-1 in the Horizon League.
The Crusaders are 5-2, 1-0 in league play as they are back in Chicago on Saturday afternoon to face the Loyola Ramblers.
