(EVANSVILLE, IN) - Tyler Zeller scored 18 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds in his return to southern Indiana, leading the North Carolina Tar Heels to a 76-49 pounding of the Evansville Purple Aces.
Justin Knox added 13 points for the Heels, who improve to 6-3 on the season.
Carolina held the Aces to 31-percent shooting from the field as no Evansville player reached double figures in points.
Colt Ryan led the way with nine points on 2-14 shooting from the field and 1-8 shooting from three-point range as the Aces have lost four of their last five games to fall to 3-4.
Evansville hosts Maryland-Eastern Shore on Saturday night.
