(STATE COLLEGE, PA) - Number ten Purdue survived an off-night from E’twaun Moore and beat Penn State 83-68 in State College.
Ryne Smith led the Boilermakers with 20 points with Lewis Jackson adding 17 and JaJuan Johnson finishing with 15 points and 15 rebounds as Purdue won its ninth game in a row to improve to 14-1, 3-0 in the Big Ten.
Moore went 2-for-10 from the field and finished with just four points, 16 below his season average.
Talor Battle and Jermaine Marshall led the Nittany Lions with 18 points apiece with Jeff Brooks adding 15 points and ten boards as Penn State drops to 8-6, 1-2 in conference play.
The Boilers are back home on Sunday afternoon when they host the Iowa Hawkeyes.
