(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts and their longest-tenured assistant coach have parted ways.
Running backs coach Gene Huey will not return for the 2011 season.
The team issued a release announcing the move on Tuesday afternoon.
The release did not go into detail as to why the team was making this move.
The 63-year-old Huey has been with the Colts for 19 seasons and has coached Marshall Faulk, Edgerrin James and Joseph Addai.
The Colts ranked 29th in rushing in 2010, averaging just under 93 yards per game.
