(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University sophomore guard Maurice Creek will reportedly have surgery on his right knee Thursday.
IU head coach Tom Crean posted a series of messages via his Twitter account saying that Creek will undergo surgery to repair the stress fracture to his kneecap.
Tomorrow's surgery is expected to end Creek's season.
He suffered the injury during the Hoosiers' win over Michigan Saturday night at Assembly Hall.
It is the second-straight year that a fractured kneecap has ended Creek's season prematurely.
He fractured the left kneecap in December of 2009.
