(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Drivers in the Izod IndyCar Series and the Firestone Indy Lights Series are in Indianapolis this week to take their physicals and attend two days of meetings.
Officials will discuss the state of the series today.
Among the topics that will be discussed will be the use of double-file restarts on all oval tracks in 2011.
The season opens in March when the IndyCar Series races through the streets of St. Petersburg.
The double-file restarts won't go into effect until the first oval race, which will be the Indianapolis 500 in May.
