(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) - Indiana’s losing streak is up the five games as the Hoosiers lost to 21st-ranked Minnesota 67-63 in Minneapolis.
Blake Hoffarber led four Golden Gophers in double figures with 16 points with Al Nolen adding 14 points.
Trevor Mbakwe recorded a double-double with eleven points and 16 rebounds and also tied a career high with five blocked shots as Minnesota moves to 12-3, 1-2 in Big Ten play.
Verdell Jones and Victor Oladipo scored 13 points apiece to lead IU with Maurice Creek adding twelve and Jordan Hulls finishing with ten as the Hoosiers fall to 9-7, 0-3 in the Big Ten.
The Hoosiers' road trip continues Sunday evening when they face the Northwestern Wildcats in Evanston.
