(KANSAS CITY, MO) - Alex Young’s career-high 32 points was not enough as the IUPUI Jaguars lost at UMKC 83-77 in double-overtime.
Jay Cousinard led the Kangaroos with 27 points and twelve rebounds with Spencer Johnson adding 24, including a game-tying three-pointer with three seconds left in regulation to force overtime.
Young also had ten rebounds with Leroy Nobles adding 19 points as the Jaguars had their three-game winning streak snapped.
UMKC improves to 11-8 overall, 4-4 in Summit League play.
The Jags fall to 11-10, 5-3 in The Summit.
IUPUI is at Southern Utah on Saturday night.
