(CARBONDALE, IL) - The Evansville Purple Aces lost for the tenth-straight time at Southern Illinois, falling to the Salukis 67-55 in Carbondale.
Carlton Fay led SIU with 15 points and eight rebounds with Mykel Cleveland adding eleven points as the Salukis snapped a two-game skid.
Pieter Van Tongeran was the only Evansville player to reach double figures, finishing with a game-high 18 points with Ned Cox adding nine as the Aces see their two-game winning streak come to an end.
Southern Illinois improves to 10-9, 4-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Evansville falls to 9-9, 3-5 in MVC play. The Aces are back home Sunday afternoon to face Bradley.
