(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Five Southern Utah players scored in double-figures as the Thunderbirds defeated the IUPUI Jaguars 80-68 in Indianapolis.
Jake Nielson led the Thunderbirds with 15 points as Southern Utah won for just the second time in their last eleven games against the Jaguars.
Leroy Nobles scored a game-high 21 points for IUPUI with Alex Young adding 14 as the Jags drop to 16-12, 10-5 in the Summit League.
The loss drops IUPUI a half-game behind second-place Oral Roberts in the conference standings.
The Jaguars play their final home game of the regular season on Saturday when they welcome UMKC.
