(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay expressed confidence in reaching a long-term deal with quarterback Peyton Manning.
Irsay addressed the media at a news conference on Thursday, saying that he has made the four-time league MVP an offer worth more than New England quarterback Tom Brady's current contract.
Brady signed a four-year, 72-million dollar deal last September.
Irsay would not divulge details of the offer, but says he is willing to sign Manning to a five or six-year contract. Manning turns 35 in March.
