(UNDATED) - Former Indiana University Basketball Coach Bob Knight is one of eight members of the class of 2011 for the National College Basketball Hall of Fame.
Knight coached at IU for 29 years, winning NCAA championships in 1976, 1981 and 1987.
He also coached for Army and Texas Tech, collecting a record 902 career victories.
Joining Knight in the class of 2011 are players Ralph Sampson, Chris Mullin, James Worthy and Cazzie Russell, coach Eddie Sutton and contributors Joe Vancisin and Eddie Einhorn.
The eight honorees will be inducted in November.
