(CLEVELAND, OH) - The Ball State Cardinals survived a scare in their quarterfinal-round game in the Mid-American Conference tournament, edging the Ohio Bobcats 76-73 in overtime.
Jesse Berry scored a game-high 20 points for the Cardinals with Chris Bond adding twelve points and Randy Davis finishing with eleven.
DJ Cooper and DeVaughn Washington led Ohio with 19 points apiece with Cooper dishing out ten assists as the Bobcats blew a nine-point lead in the final two and-a-half minutes of regulation.
Ball State advances to tonight's semifinals where they will meet top-seed Kent State in game two.
The Golden Flashes beat the Cardinals 66-53 in Muncie on January 27th.
