(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament gets underway this afternoon at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The Indiana Hoosiers play in the final game of the day as they face the Penn State Nittany Lions.
The Hoosiers are the eleven seed while Penn State is the six seed.
The teams met just once during the regular season with the Nittany Lions beating the Hoosiers 69-60 in Bloomington on December 27th.
Purdue is the number two seed and has a first-round bye.
The Boilermakers will open play Friday evening against the winners of this afternoon's game between Michigan State and Iowa.
