(UNDATED) - Notre Dame moved up and Purdue went down in this week’s ESPN/ USA Today Men’s College Basketball Coaches Poll.
The Fighting Irish moved up three places to number four, behind only Ohio State, Kansas and Big East rival Pittsburgh in the rankings.
Notre Dame beat a pair of ranked opponents last week in Villanova and Connecticut.
They open the Big East Tournament as the number-two seed on Thursday night.
The Boilermakers fell from number six to ninth in this week's poll following their shocking loss at Iowa on Saturday.
Purdue owns the number-two seed in the Big Ten Tournament and will face either the Hawkeyes or Michigan State in a quarterfinal game on Friday evening.
