(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis Colts Owner Jim Irsay met with the media on Monday for the first time since the start of the NFL lockout.
Irsay says he is optimistic that a resolution will be found and that he is confident that the work stoppage will not affect the city of Indianapolis' plans to host the Super Bowl in February of 2012.
Irsay also says that his relationship with quarterback Peyton Manning and center Jeff Saturday will not be affected by their high-visibility positions during the negotiations.
Saturday is the player's representative for the Colts and Manning is one of the plaintiffs in antitrust suits brought against the NFL in an attempt to block the lockout.
