(CHICAGO, IL) - Purdue Center JaJuan Johnson is the Big Ten men’s basketball player of the week.
Johnson scored 20 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and blocked seven shots in the Boilers' 67-47 win at Michigan State on Sunday.
That performance came on the heels of a 20-point, nine-rebound effort at Indiana last Wednesday.
The senior from Indianapolis put up those numbers against the Hoosiers despite being limited to 27 minutes of playing time due to foul trouble.
It is Johnson's first player of the week honor this season and the third of his career.
