(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers used a big run in the second quarter to beat the Detroit Pistons 111-101 at Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Pacers pulled away with a 31-14 run that gave Indiana a 14-point lead late in the first half.
The Pacers would lead by as many as 25 points in the second half before Detroit made a late run to get to within eight points in the final minute.
Darren Collison led the Pacers with 20 points with Danny Granger adding 17 and Josh McRoberts finishing with a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Rodney Stuckey led the Pistons with 24 points with Richard Hamilton scoring 19.
The Pacers improve to 34-42 and maintain their one-game lead over Charlotte in the battle for eighth place in the East.
Indiana hosts the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.
