(SALT LAKE CITY, UT) - Devereaux Peters and Natalie Novasel scored 17 points apiece to lead Notre Dame to a 77-64 win over Temple to advance to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament.
Peters added twelve rebounds for her ninth-career double-double.
Skylar Diggins finished with 15 points with Becca Bruszewski scoring twelve as the Irish improve to 28-7.
Sheylani Peddy led all scorers with 21 points with Kristen McCarthy adding 16 as the Owls finish their season at 24-9.
Notre Dame will face the winner of tonight's game between Oklahoma and Miami of Florida in Dayton on Saturday.
