(BOSTON, MA) - The Boston Celtics moved into a tie for the Eastern Conference lead with a 92-80 win over the Indiana Pacers.
Paul Pierce led a balanced Boston attack with 20 points with Jeff Green adding 19 off the bench as the Celtics pulled even with the Chicago Bulls for the conference lead.
Danny Granger and Paul George scored 15 points apiece to lead Indiana with Josh McRoberts adding 14 points and eleven rebounds as the Pacers could not build on their back-to-back wins over the Knicks.
Despite the loss, the Pacers remain a half-game ahead of Charlotte for eighth place in the East as the Bobcats lost at Houston.
The Pacers are back home Friday night when they host the Bulls.
