(NEW YORK, NY) - Ben Hansbrough scored 23 points to lead Notre Dame past Cincinnati 89-51 in the quarterfinals of the Big East Basketball Tournament.
Carleton Scott finished with 18 points and Tim Abromaitis scored 17 as the Irish shot 56 percent from the field, including 9-19 from three-point range.
Dion Dixon led the Bearcats with 15 points with Yancy Gates adding twelve as Cincinnati falls to 25-8.
The Irish will face Louisville in tonight's second semifinal.
The third-seeded Cardinals pulled away late to eliminate Marquette 81-56.
Notre Dame beat Louisville 89-79 in overtime in their lone regular season meeting February ninth in South Bend.
