(CINCINNATI, OH) - Matt Downs’ RBI double with two out in the top of the ninth gave the Houston Astros their first win of the season as they edged the Cincinnati Reds 3-2.
Houston led 2-1 before Scott Rolen tied the game with a pinch-hit solo homer in the seventh.
Brett Wallace and Humberto Quintero singled in the ninth for the Astros to set up Downs' game-winner down the left field line off Nick Masset.
Edgar Renteria had an RBI double for the Reds, who lose for the first time in 2011.
