(ST. LOUIS, MO) - Albert Pujols hit a go-ahead RBI single in the seventh inning as the St. Louis Cardinals edged the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-2.
Pittsburgh took a 2-0 lead when Lyle Overbay hit a two-run home run off St. Louis starter Kyle McClellan in the first inning.
Allen Craig hit an RBI single in the fourth and Pujols tied the game with a sacrifice fly in the fifth.
Ryan Theriot drew a one-out walk in the seventh, advanced to second on a Colby Rasmus single and scored the game-winner on Pujols' single.
