(ANAHEIM, CA) - The Cleveland Indians extended their winning streak to eight games, blanking the Los Angeles Angels 4-0 in Anaheim.
Mitch Talbot pitched eight shutout innings to get the win, improving to 1-0.
Asdrubal Cabrera gave Cleveland a 1-0 lead when he homered off Angels starter Tyler Chatwood in the top of the first.
Matt LaPorta wrapped up the scoring when he tagged Chatwood for a three-run blast in the second.
Chatwood took the loss to fall to 0-2.
