(CINCINNATI, OH) - Kevin Correia pitched a complete-game four-hitter as the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Cincinnati Reds 9-3.
Correia allowed two earned runs to improve to 3-1 on the season.
Andrew McCutchen, Matt Diaz and Steve Pearce drove in two runs apiece for the Bucs, who took three of four in the series.
Chris Heisey hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth for Cincinnati.
With the loss, the Reds lead in the NL Central is down to one game over the Pirates, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers.
