(ANAHEIM, CA) - Dan Haren fired a complete-game one-hitter as the Los Angeles Angels blanked Cleveland 2-0, snapping the Indians’ eight-game winning streak.
Peter Bourjos hit a solo home run off Cleveland starter Fausto Carmona in the third and Mark Trumbo added a solo shot off Carmona in the seventh.
That was more than enough for Haren, who threw 125 pitches to improve to 3-0.
Carmona gave up two runs on four hits in his seven and two-thirds innings of work to take the loss, falling to 0-2.
