(CHICAGO, IL) - Todd Helton hit a pair of solo home runs as the Colorado Rockies edged the Chicago Cubs 4-3.
Ty Wigginton also homered for the Rockies while Troy Tulowitzki added an RBI double as Colorado scored all of its runs off Cubs starter James Russell.
Jeff Baker had an RBI single for Chicago in the first inning and Alfonso Soriano capped the scoring with a solo homer off Rockies closer Houston Street.
Colorado starter Jorge de la Rosa allowed an earned run on six hits in his seven innings of work to improve to 4-0.
Russell took the loss to drop to 1-3.
