(COLUMBUS, OH) - The Indianapolis Indians dropped both ends of a doubleheader in Columbus, falling in the opener 6-1 and losing game two 6-5.
Luis Valbuena and Travis Buck hit two-run singles in the opener to back Alex White, who allowed a run on five hits while striking out eight to get the win in game one.
The Tribe built a 5-0 lead in the second game.
Jordan Brown brought the Clippers to within a run with a grand slam in the fifth inning.
Valbuena tied the game with an RBI single in the sixth and Ezequiel Carrera followed with another single to drive home the eventual game-winner.
Columbus sweeps the three-game series and the tribe heads home riding a four-game skid.
The Indians host the Norfolk Tides this evening.
