(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Indians picked up their first win of the season, taking advantage of some sloppy Toledo play to beat the Mud Hens 5-1.
The Tribe scored all five runs, four of them unearned, in the sixth thanks to a bases loaded walk and a pair of throwing errors.
Clete Thomas put Toledo on the scoreboard with a solo homer off of Indians starter Rudy Owens.
Owens allowed seven hits over seven innings to get the win, improving to 1-0.
The Tribe improves to 1-4 on the season with the Mud Hens falling to 1-and-4 after suffering their fourth-straight defeat.
