(CHICAGO, IL) - Alexei Ramirez’ second home run of the night gave the Chicago White Sox a 6-5 victory over the Oakland Athletics in ten innings.
Ramirez gave the Sox an early 3-1 lead when he slammed a three-run homer off Oakland starter Trevor Cahill.
Chicago built a 4-1 lead, but Oakland came back with four unanswered runs capped by Kevin Kouzmanoff's two-run shot off Tony Pena in the top of the sixth.
The White Sox tied the game at five on Juan Pierre's RBI single in the bottom of the sixth.
That was all of the scoring until Ramirez hit his game-winner off A's reliever Bobby Cramer.
The loss snaps Oakland's three-game winning streak.
