(CINCINNATI, OH) - Ramon Hernandez hit a walk off, opposite field three-run home run with two out in the bottom of the ninth to give the Cincinnati Reds a 7-6 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on opening day.
Milwaukee's first two hitters, Rickie Weeks and Carlos Gomez, gave the Brewers the early lead when they hit solo homers off Reds Starter Edinson Volquez in the first.
Ryan Braun hit a solo shot off Volquez in the fifth and Casey McGehee drove in a run in the seventh to give Milwaukee a 6-2 lead.
Reigning National League MVP Joey Votto hit a solo blast for the Reds in the seventh before Cincinnati scored four times in the ninth off Brewers Closer John Axford.
