(KANSAS CITY, MO) - Brent Morel’s two-run single in the top of the twelfth gave Chicago the lead as the White Sox defeated the Kansas City Royals 10-7 in extra innings.
The Royals jumped out to a 5-0 lead before the Sox climbed back with two runs in the seventh.
Chicago scored four runs in the ninth to take a 7-6 lead with Carlos Quentin capping the rally with a two-run double.
Kila Ka'aihue tied the game with an RBI double in the bottom of the ninth.
Morel hit a bases loaded single off Sean O'Sullivan in the twelfth and Juan Pierre followed with a sacrifice fly as Chicago halts KC's four-game winning streak.
