(HOUSTON, TX) - Homer Bailey was impressive in his second start of the season as the Cincinnati Reds defeated the Houston Astros 7-3.
Bailey, who missed the first month of the season with a shoulder injury, threw seven shutout innings to improve to 2-and-0.
The Reds' offense did its damage in the first two innings.
Jay Bruce capped Cincinnati's four-run first with a two-run homer off Astros starter Brett Myers.
Joey Votto, who hit an RBI double in the first, added a two-run double in the second to finish with three runs batted in.
