(DURHAM, NC) - Justin Ruggiano’s bases-loaded single with two out in the bottom of the eleventh gave the Durham Bulls a 2-1, extra-innings victory over the Indianapolis Indians.
Durham took a 1-0 lead on Leslie Anderson's RBI single in the fourth.
The Tribe tied it in the sixth when Pedro Ciriaco's sacrifice fly scored Corey Wimberly from third base.
That was it until the eleventh when Ruggiano lined a Justin Thomas pitch to center field to score JJ Furmaniak from third.
Game three of the four-game series is this morning in Durham.
