(MIAMI, FL) - Marlon Byrd hit a go-ahead solo home run in the eighth inning as the Chicago Cubs came from behind to beat the Florida Marlins 7-5.
Reed Johnson had a pinch-hit two-run homer and Darwin Barney also drove in a pair of runs for the Cubs.
Jeff Samardzija threw two innings of scoreless relief to get the win and improve to 3-0.
Greg Dobbs had a two-run double and Hanley Ramirez hit a solo shot for the Marlins.
