(KANSAS CITY, MO) - The Cleveland Indians erupted for 19 runs including ten in one inning as they pounded the Kansas City Royals 19-1.
Michael Brantley hit a three-run homer and drove in four with Matt LaPorta also driving in four runs for the Indians.
Orlando Cabrera and Travis Hafner drove in three runs each with Shelly Duncan having a two RBI night.
Josh Tomlin was the beneficiary of the offensive onslaught as he allowed a run over six innings to get the win, improving to 5-1.
Kansas City reliever Vin Mazzaro really took one for the team.
Mazzaro allowed 14 earned runs, including all ten in the top of the fourth, on eleven hits and three walks in his two and-a-third innings of work.
