(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The 33 drivers in Sunday’s Indianapolis 500 have today off before returning to the two and-a-half-mile oval tomorrow for the annual Carb Day practice.
It is the final opportunity for teams and drivers to check their cars at speed before Sunday's 100th anniversary '500'.
Tomorrow's schedule also includes the Freedom 100 Firestone Indy Lights series race and the annual pit stop competition. Qualifying for the Freedom 100 is the only on-track activity scheduled at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway today.
Saturday brings the drivers' meeting as well as the 500 Festival Parade. There will also be an autograph session Saturday at the speedway featuring several former race participants.
